POM POM

This doesn’t have to be exact but here is what I used.  4” X 4” piece of cardboard

Wind yarn around cardboard approx 150 times.  Slide off cardboard and tie yarn around middle as tight as possible.  Leave ends long for attaching to hat.  Cut all loops and trim pom pom to size and shape desired.  Attach to hat.

PREEMIE

All rounds worked continuously – starting from the bottom up.

Starting with 5.5 mm hook – Work contrast colour for band here if desired and change to main colour when changing to 6.5mm hook

Ch 33, being careful not to twist chain, join with slip st (32)

Rnds 1-3: Sc in 1st and each st around (32)

Change to 6.5 mm hook
