The Revelstoke

There are two types of hats I love the wear in the winter!  Slouchy hats and cozy thick hats.  The Revelstoke is my cozy hat of choice this year.  It has a nice thick texture which is sure to keep your ears warm while the cold winter winds howl.


This design is incredibly easy to make a few rounds in you will be putting the pattern aside and working from memory.  Pick out your favourite colours in bulky yarn – up to FIVE, along with a 6.00 mm and 6.50 mm hook and get started!

It’s Warm Somewhere!

Today we had a huge snow storm here.  It started early yesterday with just a few flakes, the sky was dark and gloomy and the air was very cold and crisp.   As I ran errands I was thinking about all the things I wanted to make when I got home, to the warmth of my cozy living room and fireplace. The boys (all three of them) were there so I knew I wouldn’t have a lot of time to spend crocheting.
